Dax Shepard has watched wife Kristen Bell's latest series, Nobody Wants This, in its entirety, and has something to say about one kissing scene in particular.
The beloved series, which premiered on Netflix last month, features Bell (Joanne) and The O.C. alum Adam Brody (Noah) falling into an unlikely romance that very few of their relatives expect to flourish despite the on-screen couple's best efforts.
Shepard, a self-proclaimed fan of the series, appeared on a panel at the New Yorker Film Festival on Saturday (October 26), per Page Six, and spoke on his romantic chemistry with his wife in comparison to the flame she ignites with Brody in the series.
"Not as good as her and Brody," the comedian joked, zooming in on a kissing scene he referred to as the "very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film."
He continued, quipping about a recent conversation he had with a childhood friend about the chemistry Bell and Brody portray in the new comedy.
"My best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?’ No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that."
Bell and Shepard married in 2013 and went on to conceive their two lovely daughters, Lincoln 11, Delta, 9. Over the years, they've starred alongside each other in NBC comedy series "The Good Place," and 2010's When In Rome.
